Annual Refresher Half Day

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) revised First Aid Guidance, October 2009, strongly recommends that first-aiders that hold the First Aid at Work or the Emergency First Aid at Work qualifications, undertake annual refresher training day.

This course helps first-aiders to maintain their resuscitation skills and medical knowledge and keep up to date with any changes to first-aid protocols.  Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation training is taught in line with the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines 2015.

The course is 3 hour course and consists of theory and practical sessions. It can be tailored to suit the needs of your staff and their working environments eg administrative, leisure or equestrian.

On successful completion of the course, students will be awarded a certificate of attendance which is based on continual assessment throughout the day by the Instructor.

In addition EMT Academy provides a reminder service where the company or student will be contacted 6 months before their qualification expires, to ensure they can arrange requalification.
